We will be looking for contributors from time to time for our blog so please email us if you would like to share your story, whatever that is as long as it is about gender, conception, pregnancy or parenting.

When you email with your story please include the following-

Your first name and last initial or last name
a sentence or two about yourself
whether you wrote the story
if your story includes references/copy or articles you must include details of these

Please keep stories to between 100-200 words
We will notify you if we would like to use your story in our blog

We want to involve as many of you as possible in our blog so start writing Wink

When we have a set discussion topic we want contributors for, we will also post it here.

Maree and I want to post member 'journey' stories to inspire, share or prepare those on this journey...we will advise you when will will be posting your story, we may do it over several weeks it will just depend on how the blog comes together and what we feel is suitable and when...

Specifically we are looking for the following -

An insight to what it is like to start out on this journey - ideally a member who has just started their journey, how they found themselves here...

Now you are pregnant but do not know gender - ideally about what you feel and how you think you will be when you find out gender, and if you are happy with your sway?

You have either found out gender or have had your baby - ideally about your feelings and expectations are they more or less than what you had imagined, is your family now complete?

Please, please tell us your story, our blog will be a richer experience with the true and heartfelt words of real women like each and every one of you and may just be what someone else needs to hear for whatever reason to help them on their own journey... Wink

Email me on info@a-gender.com.au

Don't forget first name and either last name or initial is required. Wink

Thank-you :-*

Ooh I would love to be involved but I might wait until I'm pregnant at least (and family and friends know) only because my first name is VERY unique and we're wanting to keep all plans quiet for now. If we could get around that though (maybe first and last initial only??) I would love to help with a story from the 'just starting out' perspective  :D

Good luck, sounds great!

We feel names will give some credibility as we want visitors to the blog to know these are real stories however we would be happy to use your forum name, if privacy is an issue.

We do appreciate how this situation is so if you would like to write a story but are having issues with the name side of things please don't let that stop you, we can work around things for you. Wink :)

I started my story tonight, got about a third of the way through, did a word count, and it was already over 300 words! Lol, change of tact required so I'll attack it again tomorrow night. Wink

Happy to help  Wink  I just sent Cindy an email with my submission...I hope it's useful but it was so hard to fit much into so few words! I could write a novel easier! Lol  :D

Bubble3 made a good observation, writing a story in a post of 200 words or less is very difficult so I was thinking maybe if you have a story which cannot be effectively written in this amount of words we could consider breaking them up over several posts over a week or two.

But on the upside 200 words isn't much to write so it should be really easy for lots of you to write a few words for the blog  Wink ;D

We have had a bit of interest but would love more stories - anyone....? Huh? :)

Hi guys,

I didn't know where to write this so I've just come here...

I've been trying to read Tanya's latest blog post but it's not openning up.  001_unsure It starts to but only gets as far as the heading line then just tells me the page is done but with errors. I can open others so I don't know if it's a problem only I'm having or everyone.

xx

Thank you for letting us know bubble 3

I have been havng this problem as well and another lady has told me she has been having difficulties also.

Our computer technician can not find anything wrong however when we get a chance we may try removing the post and readding it on to see if this makes a difference.

It is really strange. Cindy has no trouble accessing it however I have been unable to fully read Tanyas post as well  cursing (I just liked the icon and have been waiting for an opportunity to use it!!)

Hopefully we will be able to access the Post soon  biggrin

This post is a puzzle Huh?, as I have removed it and re-loaded it and it is still not showing up in internet explorer for some reason but I can view it perfectly in Firefox which is my preferred browser.  There has not been the same problem with any other post before or after it...so it is really puzzling confused1 ...sorry, I think I may just put it in again completely.
